Bringing the Library to Your Door
Every two weeks, the library will bring materials right to the door of patrons who qualify for Home Services. Before your first delivery, a library staff member will contact you and schedule a home or phone interview. This interview is your opportunity to share your favorite subjects, genres, authors, and interests. With so many choices at the library and through our consortium, this process will help us select materials you will enjoy.
Qualifying for Home Services
Jerome city residents may request home services if they are unable to visit the library due to advanced age, permanent illness or disability and have no one who can visit the library on their behalf.
Home service patrons may borrow any circulating materials for 14 days with 1 renewal allowed. Home Service patrons do not accrue fines as all materials are delivered and picked up. However, they are responsible for lost or damaged items.
The decision to provide Home Services to a patron may be influenced by available staff resources and is the ultimate discretion of the Library Director.
